Plot

Rose, a headstrong half-vampire guardian-in-training, and her best friend Lissa, a royal vampire princess, find themselves back at St. Vladimirs Academy after a daring escape. Despite the safety of the academy, they face peril from both internal threats and the Strigoi, malevolent vampires that seek to exploit Lissa’s royal status. As danger looms, Rose is determined to do whatever it takes to shield Lissa, even if it means risking her own life. Their bond is tested as they navigate the treacherous politics of the academy and the lurking threats beyond its gates.
