Plot
Matt Matthews, a young moonshiner from the Ozark Mountains, harbors deep resentment for the father he’s never met, believing him responsible for his mother’s death. This bitterness fuels the animosity that permeates the region. Everything changes with the arrival of Daniel Howitt, a mysterious stranger whose kindness and wisdom gradually inspire the locals to confront their hatred. As Daniel's influence grows, the mountain community starts to heal, learning to replace their anger with understanding and compassion. Through his presence, they rediscover hope and the possibility of reconciliation.
