Plot
The tranquility of the Bentley family is upended when John learns from his wife, Stella, that their two married daughters, Pat and Corrine, need money to return home, bringing along their husbands: Peter, a broke artist from Paris, and Barnaby, a cowboy from Texas. Meanwhile, youngest daughter Gwen has lured American singer Bobby Denver under false pretenses. As the women in the house become enamored with Bobby, John turns to an eccentric psychiatrist, Dr. Schneider, for help. His questionable advice leads to unexpected chaos, threatening not only Bobby's stay but also John's marriage.
