Plot

Sheriff Jorden of Gunlock faces a tense standoff as he prepares to execute Sam Hall, convicted of killing three farmers over cattle disputes. At the local casino, odds favor Sam's impending doom, but tensions mount as cattlemen plot a rescue while farmers conspire for a lynching. Amid the chaos, Sam devises a desperate escape plan with his girlfriend, Nellie. Jorden is also preoccupied with uncovering who orchestrated Hall’s actions, with his future brother-in-law emerging as a prime suspect in this tangled web of betrayal and vengeance.
