Plot

Thirteen-year-old Sigrid, with her striking white hair, and her seven-year-old half-sister Saara, whose lineage includes a darker heritage, meet for the first time and learn their shared grandmother is in a nursing home. Determined to reunite with her, they devise a plan to rescue her and hide her in their attic. Initially, their scheme unfolds smoothly, but chaos ensues when unsavory characters—drunkards, thugs, and extortionists—descend upon them. The sisters must summon courage and quick thinking to navigate the escalating danger and protect their beloved grandmother.
